Turn The Tide

Welcome to Turn the Tide Health Collaborative

Turn the Tide is a network of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) health care practitioners donating their services from their private offices to the uninsured and underinsured in Maine. Payment is a "pay it forward" donation of the patient's time doing community service or service to others (including involvement in Hour Exchange Portland), or a cash donation.

Turn the Tide seeks to empower patients to create well being and raise awareness about the value of complementary and alternative medicine in the health care system. Our mission is to provide complementary and alternative health care, promoting vitality of body, mind and spirit for all. We seek to inspire an evolution of our health care system in which all forms of health and healing are integrated, and accessible to everyone.

Turn the Tide also hopes to gather data showing the efficacy of complementary and alternative medicine to be used to help change the face of health care in America.

Who We Serve:

If you are uninsured or have insurance that does not cover the services offered in the Turn the Tide Network, you are eligible to request services.
