Maggie Miller, M.A., is a teacher and therapist with 24 years of experience facilitating the personal growth and development of individuals through body-oriented approaches to therapy and education. At the heart of her work is a deep appreciation for the life of the body and the wisdom of the organism, and the value of mindfulness and sensory awareness in our functioning. She holds a BFA in Dance, an MA in Movement Therapy and is certified in KMI Structural Integration, a bodywork approach based on the principles of Ida P. Rolf, and by the International Association for Structural Integration. She has taught at the both the high school and college level, and has worked as a movement therapist both in private practice and in hospital settings. She currently resides in Portland, Maine with her family where she maintains a private practice.
